"Stunning" doesn't even begin to do the Grand Ballroom justice at The Georgian Terrace.

Given its location right next to Interstate 285, the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter at Villa Christina has a surprising amount of natural settings for those wanting an outdoor wedding. With gardens featuring waterfalls, bridges, and even a wooden swing (not to mention the rooftop pool deck), couples can tie the knot surrounded by serene beauty.
Why not celebrate your love at a resort inspired by love? An hour northwest of Atlanta, Barnsley Resort in Adairsville started as a beautiful home by Godfrey Barnsley for his beloved wife, Julia. Many beautiful settings for weddings are dotted throughout the resort, but none are more breathtaking than the manor ruins, the only remnant of this couple’s love.
With its 100-foot-tall monumental gate, the Millennium Gate Museum is quickly becoming one of Atlanta’s most popular wedding venues. Although the architecture is quite a draw, many couples also love the landscaped park surrounding the museum, providing the perfect setting for an outdoor city wedding.

Known for its distinguished collection of more than 16,000 artworks, the High Museum of Art also is popular for couples creating their own wedding photography collections. With a variety of venues, including the Margaretta Taylor Lobby of the Wieland Pavilion, the High offers the perfect locale for artistic expressions of love.
Approximately one hour southwest of Atlanta, Callaway Gardens obviously is a prime destination for outdoor weddings. However, one of its most gorgeous, manmade wedding venues is the Ida Cason Callaway Memorial Chapel. Reminiscent of a 16th-century Gothic chapel, the church’s stained glass windows, stone altar, and lakeside setting are perfect for iconic wedding photos.
Beautiful wedding venues are bountiful in Atlanta, but only Fernbank Museum of Natural History offers couples a wedding site featuring the world’s largest dinosaur skeletons as the centerpiece. Or, for smaller gatherings, book the Star Gallery, complete with mood lighting and a fiber optic ceiling that features constellations of the evening sky.
Infuse Southern hospitality with international flair at The Carter Center, where you can make your own kind of history. What could be better than starting your marriage at a place with a slogan that includes “Building Hope”?
Built in 1928, the Swan House presents an iconic backdrop for any wedding ceremony. The historic mansion is an outstanding example of Second Renaissance Revival architecture. And, for Hunger Games aficionados, who wouldn’t want to get married at President Snow’s mansion?
For couples wanting a nontraditional wedding venue, Paris on Ponce is just the spot. Home of “Pop-Up Weddings,” couples can wed any Tuesday through Friday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Limited to parties of 20 people or less, weddings here include the officiant and decor.
Brides looking to surround themselves with natural (and architectural) beauty need look no further than the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Offering a variety of, yes, gardens, as well as several facilities, the Atlanta Botanical Garden excels at outdoor weddings without sacrificing modern comforts.
Imagine having a whale shark or beluga whale swim by as the backdrop to your big day. It can happen if your wedding is in the Oceans Ballroom at the Georgia Aquarium. It’s an entirely new way to add drama to an already dramatic event.
Be the star of your own matrimonial production at the Fox Theatre. With its massive columns, grand elegance, and plentiful rooms for all your guests, the Egyptian Ballroom is the perfect set for any wedding.
High above the streets of Midtown at the Four Seasons, enjoy skyline views of Atlanta as you become husband and wife. This ballroom even features an outdoor terrace where guests can take their own memorable photos to commemorate the occasion.
